FREE: Join photographer, Fujifilm Creator and educator Dave Julian as he shares his approach to culturally-authentic travel photography. Using some of his favorite images as examples, Dave will reveal how he creates photographs that go well beyond the postcard to capture the unique feeling of a place and the people who inhabit it. He’ll offer simple, practical tips for working in new environments, anticipating opportunities, and building stronger visual stories— without faked scenarios and models. He’ll also explain how he helps photographers at all levels to take creative risks, learn new skills and grow their personal style. This will be an interactive, inclusive meetup that leads towards forthcoming SPC member photo-sharing meetups.
